Basic Principle

Over/Under is a bet on the total number of goalsscored in a match, regardless of who wins.
- Over 2.5— You win if there are 3 or more goals (1-2, 0-3, 2-1, 3-0, etc.)- Under 2.5— You win if there are 2 or fewer goals (0-0, 1-0, 0-1, 1-1, 2-0)
The ".5" eliminates the possibility of landing exactly on the line (no real 2.5 goals exist).

Most Popular Thresholds

| Line | What it Means |
|------|--------------|
| 1.5 | Over=2+ goals; Under=0 or 1 goal |
| 2.5 | Over=3+ goals; Under=0, 1, or 2 goals |
| 3.5 | Over=4+ goals; Under=0 to 3 goals |

Factors Affecting Goal Count

Beginner Strategy

For Over 2.5:
- Look for matches where both teams average 2.5+ goals in their last 5
- Avoid matches between top-table teams (controlled games)

For Under 2.5:
- Find intense rivalries known for tight games
- Avoid knockout cup ties where scoring is urgent
